Extended Care Program
The Extended Care program of Saint Veronica Catholic School was established in 1986. We provide high-quality, child care for our school families in a safe, enjoyable environment. We comply with San Mateo County Department of Health guidelines for child care.

Student Council
The student council consists of a number of selected students from eighth grade who qualify to assume office and act as commissioners in several areas of school activities.
Members should maintain good grades in all subject areas, conduct, and effort The role of the student council is that of leadership and responsibility.
Faculty members act as moderators who meet with the students on a regular basis and keep the faculty informed of activities.
ART
Art instruction helps children with the development of motor skills, among other skills such as inventiveness.
Imaginative activities provide a creative outlet for our learners.
Band
M.U.S.E. (Musical Understanding through Sound Education (MUSE) is available for students in grades 3 - 8 that are interested in learning to play a musical instrument. Students can play flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet or percussion in a concert band setting. There is both a beginning and intermediate band. Band practice takes place once a week after school.

P.E.

Music
Our Music Program is run by Mrs. Melissa Stemler. Mrs. Stemler is a Bay Area organist and pianist.

Choir
In addition to music class, all children grade 2 and up are invited to join our parish Children's choir. Participation in the choir will encourage their musical talents and prepare music to be sung as prayer at a Sunday Mass. Practices happen on Thursdays at 3:15 pm, in the choir loft at church.
Spanish
Our Spanish Program is offered K-8. Our teacher focuses on tailoring classes based on stages of development for each grade, incorporating different teaching modalities such as singing, recitation, drawing art, and more.

Our Spanish Program not only teaches language skills but also fosters cultural understanding and appreciation.
Service
SV promotes an understanding that through service to others in the community students are also committing to serving God. They share their time and talent with others who are in need.
After School Youth Faith Formation
Our Parish Faith Formation Program provides religious education to more than 200 children of our Parish who attend public school, in addition to our St. Veronica students in need of preparation for Sacraments.
