Learning

St. Veronica Catholic School is a faith-based institution that provides quality education for students in kindergarten through grade 8. Our school is accredited by the Western Catholic Educational Association (WCEA), which accredits Catholic elementary and secondary schools in nine western states (26 (arch) dioceses) and the U.S. Territory of Guam. At St. Veronica Catholic School, we are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where students can grow academically, spiritually, and socially.

Kindergarten

Our kindergarten program focuses on developing the whole child by fostering a love for learning, promoting socialization, and building a strong foundation in literacy and numeracy skills. Our experienced teacher uses a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of our students. Students are also taught by music, Spanish and physical education teachers. Optional after school activities include the Intramural Sports Program (K-3) for boys and girls. 

Grades 1-5

Our elementary program provides a rigorous academic curriculum that is aligned with state and national standards. Grade level teachers in elementary provide instruction in all core subjects such as math, science, social studies and language arts. In addition, students  are taught Spanish, music, technology, religion and physical education classes. Our teachers use a variety of instructional methods to help students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Optional after school activities include Choir (starting in 2nd grade), our Athletic Programs, which include both the Intramural (K-3) Program and our school sports Program (4-8) for boys and girls; and band.

Grades 6-8

Our middle school faculty each specialize in a specific core-subject area and teach classes in grades 6-8. Our curriculum includes core subjects such as math, literature, science, social studies and language arts, as well as classes in technology, Spanish, music, religion and physical education. Our teachers work to promote student success in high school and beyond. Our middle school program provides a challenging and supportive environment where students can explore new interests and develop leadership skills. Additionally students can optionally participate in after school activities such as Choir, our Athletic Programs  (4-8) for boys and girls, and band.
